As the Chief Data & Technology Officer within SAP’s digital organization, Christian is responsible for key strategic initiatives that enable SAP to become a best-run business and the role model of an Intelligent Sustainable Enterprise. His priorities are translating corporate strategy into ready to use enterprise architecture, evolving SAP’s developer experience by providing services along the entire DevSecOps lifecycle, and the design, build and run of mission critical data capabilities, together with their underlying technology platforms.
Christian began his SAP career in 2011 and has held several leadership roles including Managing Partner for a large enterprise customer and Head of the S/4HANA Move Program.
With his extensive customer experience and as a member of SAP´s CDIO Leadership team Christian brings a focus on customer centricity, technology thought leadership and strategy to execution.
Outside of work, Christian enjoys playing the piano and trumpet and together with his family participates in many outdoor activities such as skiing, sailing, and cycling.
Dr. Nivien Shafik
As the Head of Advanced Analytics reporting to the Chief Data Officer of Munich Re, a DAX listed company, Nivien is responsible for co-creating scalable data analytics solutions with the clients of Munich Re and adopting artificial intelligence in the core business of Munich Re but also for creating new business models around AI. In her current role, she is the executive sponsor of the AI governance project at Munich Re and Munich Re’s corporate venture in Trustworthy AI, CertAI (www.certai.com), was initiated in her department.
Before that she held other roles at Munich Re and was self-employed with lecturing in Germany and abroad at private and public universities in the subjects statistics, actuarial sciences and mathematics.
Her career started in 2007 at the Actuarial unit of KPMG and she was a founding member of the strategic growth initiative around Data Analytics at KPMG. After being the EMEA sector manager for insurance she continued servicing insurers as a manager in audit and consulting projects.
She holds a PhD in machine learning after majoring in Mathematics and is a qualified Actuary.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, travelling and reading books, as well as listening to Podcasts around leadership, mathematics and psychology.
Dominik Mueller is the Head of Advanced Analytics at AGCS, the global corporate & specialty carrier of Allianz. Before that, he held various positions within Allianz, from management of digitalization projects to leading a team implementing pricing algorithms for global health insurance products. He started his career with Accenture Risk Management consulting and holds a doctorate in mathematical statistics.
Jochen is an experienced executive with over 15 years of experience in the retail sector. He currently serves as the Director of the Central Data Office at ALDI, where he is responsible for leading the Data Strategy, Governance, Management, Architecture, and Compliance efforts of the company.
Prior to his current role, Jochen held various leadership positions within ALDI, including Manager for the Stores Department and the Buying Department. Before joining ALDI, Jochen worked at LIDL and EDEKA, gaining valuable experience in the retail industry.
In his personal life, Jochen is married, has two children and enjoys spending time with his family.
Wim Stoop is Senior Director, Hybrid Data Platform for Cloudera. In this role, he leads the marketing direction and strategic vision for Cloudera’s mission to let organizations turn data into business value at scale. Prior to Cloudera, Wim spent more than 20 years helping blue-chip companies such as IBM, BP, and HSBC solve their most data-intensive challenges in the context of their business objectives and usage scenarios. Wim is a regular speaker at industry events where organisations are deciding and defining their big data strategy and direction. Wim holds a degree in Chemical Process Technology from the Eindhoven University of Technology in The Netherlands.
Eswar has built many Data Science and Machine Learning applications in various industries. He previously worked in companies like Cognizant, Daimler AG, Camelot ITLabs, and DHL, gaining experience in Banking and Fintech, Automotive, Pharmaceutical, and Logistics & Supply Chain. In addition, Eswar built many real-world commercial Data Science products, which have been helpful to many companies in Risk Management. He is currently a Senior Product Manager at Exasol, shaping the development to make it Data Science and Machine Learning friendly. In this role, he works closely with marketing, R&D, and commercial teams to build and amplify Data Science at Scale by bringing innovative products to life.
Richard Brouwer is a worldwide leading expert in migration and data integration of SAP data. He gained his knowledge during his 30 year career in data working in leading organizations at companies like Ratiopharm, Unilever and Heineken, as well as technology at companies like Accenture, Teradata and HVR. Currently he is applying his expertise as a Senior Solution Consultant at Fivetran as the global go-to-person for all SAP related topics.
As a Solution Engineer Roman helps customers in the DACH region to adapt Pyramid platform in order to gain the full potential of Pyramid Analytics Decision Intelligence offering.
In the last decade Roman has worked on several analytics and data management projects in different roles. He has helped the customers on their digital transformation journey in different verticals e.g., Telco, Finance, Insurance and Logistics.
Outside of work, Roman is a big sports fan, especially football and Formula 1. He enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking and skiing. He likes travelling and exploring new places.
Jawwad leads data and analytics transformation for multinational clients with a breadth of experience across the Financial Services sector. Prior to Alteryx, Jawwad worked with Ernst & Young leading market propositions with technology partners for process re-engineering, enterprise performance management, business intelligence and regulatory change including ESG. Jawwad continues to collaborate with a wide array of technology providers and product engineers to develop solutions that drive democratization of analytics.
